"I have 4 pairs of the Sangeti Wide Calf boots(3 in leather and 1 in suede(blue)). I'm a fan. However, the boots I received and that are pertaining to this review, were ill cut; there was too much slack from the lower calf to the ankle. It was about inches of extra fabric. I never experienced this with my other Sangeti boots. In addition, the boots were 2 different shades. I think I was sent a sample. They looked new based on the sole, but the fabric was lighter on one. My other issue is the dying process. There was some areas that were white. The last issue I've had with many of VC suede pieces. Overall, a fan of Sangeti. I wear an 11M, but needed to order 11W due to the need for the extra wide calf. I add 2 insoles to take up wide width."

Horrible leather

"I am so disappointed in the quality of these boots. The calf sizing is great, but the leather is defective. After wearing them only twice (indoors), the leather has completely cracked and flaked. It looks nothing like the shiny pictures. For boots that are close to $250 and are supposed to be real, high-quality leather, this should not be happening at all. Save your money."

"I love these boots so comfortable, i got the widest calf and because I wanted to wear jeans but they are to tight for that. Hopefully after breaking them in the leather will loosen."

Don’t buy, extremely cheap material

"I loved the look of these boots, so I decided to spend the money and I am so disappointed! I wore them twice and had gotten ONE drop of water on one of the boots and the red completely came off!!! Whatever material was used for the red leather is CHEAP! I even tried using red shoe polish and it made the red leather come off even more! These boots were a compete rip off, don’t buy!!"

Received dirty used boots

"The boots I received were pre worn, complete with fraying, scuffs, and even dirty insoles glued inside them. There was heel damage and honestly for the cost of the boots, the leather quality is terrible. Im so heartbroken as I spent a couple hundred dollars extra to have a relative ship them to me. They wouldn't have been worth the original price I had paid had they been new, dont get me wrong they are beautiful, but they are certainly not worth the extra money I forked out (and unfortunately im unable to return them without extra shipping costs). Buyer be warned, especially if you are taking a risk to begin with."
