"The boots are very cute but unfortunately like other reviews, they do run small in the toe/foot bed. I was nervous to order these on a final sale basis when the reviews weren’t super clear on the calf sizing or the shoe sizing. For reference I am typically an 8. 5 in VC boots and have a 17” calf width. I decided to order the 8. 5 wide calf (burnt sugar) based on reviews. The calf does fit but seems a little snug without stretching the extra little fabric pocket at the top. They will fit comfortably on bare legs, tights or nylons but I don’t think these would stretch farther for other pant styles. Wondering if an “extra wide” would’ve fit my legs better. Although I don’t typically need a wide width shoe, they are very narrow in the foot - super narrow if you are assuming they will be wide width fitting just bc the calf is wide. Overall, I love the look and color. I like that they aren’t slouchy and hoping they stretch out slightly from use based on the material."

"I have 4 pairs of the Sangeti Wide Calf boots(3 in leather and 1 in suede(blue)). I'm a fan. However, the boots I received and that are pertaining to this review, were ill cut; there was too much slack from the lower calf to the ankle. It was about inches of extra fabric. I never experienced this with my other Sangeti boots. In addition, the boots were 2 different shades. I think I was sent a sample. They looked new based on the sole, but the fabric was lighter on one. My other issue is the dying process. There was some areas that were white. The last issue I've had with many of VC suede pieces. Overall, a fan of Sangeti. I wear an 11M, but needed to order 11W due to the need for the extra wide calf. I add 2 insoles to take up wide width."

Horrible leather

"I am so disappointed in the quality of these boots. The calf sizing is great, but the leather is defective. After wearing them only twice (indoors), the leather has completely cracked and flaked. It looks nothing like the shiny pictures. For boots that are close to $250 and are supposed to be real, high-quality leather, this should not be happening at all. Save your money."

Don’t buy, extremely cheap material

"I loved the look of these boots, so I decided to spend the money and I am so disappointed! I wore them twice and had gotten ONE drop of water on one of the boots and the red completely came off!!! Whatever material was used for the red leather is CHEAP! I even tried using red shoe polish and it made the red leather come off even more! These boots were a compete rip off, don’t buy!!"
